Following the Prime Ministers advice last night (24/03/2020) regarding COVID-19, we wanted to share some of the measures we are taking at Desmonde Associates to minimise operational disruption, service to our customers and minimise risk in line with current guidance.
Firstly, we would also like to reassure you that we are very much open for business and operating a normal business service.
One of the advantages of our modern society is the ability to work remotely using tools such as Building Information Modelling and the systems that we have in place allow for video conferencing, collaborative working on projects and document sharing all from our remote working environments.
We are open for business thanks to our planning and investment in our IT systems, we have seamlessly transitioned to remote working.
Planning Advice and Services
Our planning experts can conduct business as normal. We are happy to view sites solo to remove the need for human contact and can also carry out desk top surveys and evaluations remotely.
Given the changes to planning law and financing this may be one of the best times to consider an extension to your existing property to enable home working and potentially add value to your property.
Strategic Advice and Guidance
Desmonde Associates provide strategic guidance in the areas of IT, remote working (BIM) and local government strategy.
Those services continue and we can provide remote conferencing and working for our clients and the delivery of their projects.
Structures and Surveys
With many properties now working with skeleton staff, Desmonde Associates are actually in a better position than normal to conduct surveys. Given the improved access we can work more quickly and with less disruption than normal.
Face-to-face meetings are being managed via video conferencing unless it is an emergency and Desmonde Associates remain contactable by email or phone should you wish to discuss your project or have any questions.
Thank you for your continued support.
