Early Career Success For Two Truro & Penwith College Students

Two Truro & Penwith College students have now completed their final exams and their industry placements with Desmonde Associates.

Ethan Allen, 18 and Kynan Besenyi, 21 have been for the past 20 weeks gaining industry experience with our team at Desmonde Associates. They have both been working alongside studying for their college course in Technical Level, in Construction, Design Planning and Surveying.

“It has been an absolute pleasure having both Ethan and Kynan working within such a dynamic team here at Desmonde Associates.

“They have both done incredibly well to achieve such a huge amount in such a short period of time. Our team wishes them both well for their future careers, of which I am sure they will do very well,” said Adam Desmonde BSc Msc, Managing Director, Desmond Associates.

Besenyi has now been offered a role with CAD Architects in Truro as a Trainee Architectural Technician. Continuing his studies, CAD Archictecs will also support and fund Besenyi to study a HNC Level 4 course in Construction & Built Environment at Truro and Penwith College.

“My time at Desmonde Associates has been a fantastic experience from the very beginning. All the team there have been extremely welcoming and supportive throughout and as a result, they have enabled me to gain valuable knowledge which has only increased my aspirations to become an Architectural Technician,” said Kynan Besenyi.

Although we maybe losing one of our students, one of them will be returning.

“I have enjoyed my time with such a supportive company which has given me a head start above my peers.

“I am also excited to have just been offered a part time, paid role with Desmonde Associates, where I can continue to gain as much insight into the built environment, alongside taking up my Architecture degree studies later this year at the University of Plymouth,” said Ethan Allen.
